Claire Camille rejoint l'équipe du Cabaret de Licques.

Starting September 11, join Claire Camille Galtier at the Cabaret de Licques. Here is a look at her incredible professional career.

Claire Camille's training

Claire Galtier studied classical dance at the Conservatoire de Paris, where she graduated with highest honors. She began her career as a dancer at the age of 17 with an initial contract in the Paris Opera Ballet, which was renewed the following year. She has performed on the stages of both the Opéra Garnier and the Opéra Bastille (Don Quixote, Manon, Swan Lake, etc.).

An incredible professional journey

She then joined Maurice Béjart’s company in Lausanne (the Béjart Ballet Lausanne), with whom she toured the world’s most prestigious stages. There, she performed most of the iconic ballets created by the master (The Rite of Spring, The Firebird, Le Presbytère, Brel et Barbara, Greek Dances, Concerto in D…). A fabulous and unforgettable experience. In 2005, Claire decided to change styles and ventured into the world of cabaret. She was immediately hired at the Lido de Paris for the revue “Bonheur” as a Bluebell Girl. Claire progressed quickly alongside the highly talented artistic director, Mr. Pierre Rambert, and rose through the ranks to be promoted to Principal Dancer. In 2010, she was scouted by Bill Goodson, choreographer of the Moulin Rouge, to be considered as the lead dancer for Italy’s biggest TV show: Chiambretti Night. The Italian presenter Piero Chiambretti was impressed and hired her for a year in Milan. During this sabbatical year, Claire danced alongside the biggest stars of the moment during prime-time broadcasts. In 2011, she returned to her position at the Lido de Paris, while continuing to appear at prestigious events both in France and abroad (Olympia, Monte-Carlo Grand Prix, San Remo Festival, etc.).

Life after the Lido

Claire subsequently worked with many renowned choreographers (Maurice Béjart, Kader Belarbi, Kamel Ouali, Blanca Li). Also working as an agency model in Paris and Milan, she was selected for TV commercials, magazine features, and fashion shows (Etam Lingerie, Maison LEJABY, Jean Luc Amsler, Ritu Beri, Octavio Pizarro, Oora by Matt Pokora, Jean-Paul Gaultier). Several roles in films and TV series, as well as appearances as a dancer on French television shows, allowed her to broaden her horizons. In 2015, Claire decided to go freelance in order to pursue new artistic experiences. This led her to discover the Dreams Folie company, directed by Sébastien Lallemand. Instantly captivated by the quality of the choreography, the staging, and the splendid costumes, a connection was formed and a true passion began. After a 20-year career, it is with great honor that she agreed to lead the revue at the Trocadéro in Liège for the Dreams Folie company. In 2021, Camille Claire Galtier joined the Cabaret de Licques team to become part of the dance ballet.
